Public Art

2025/2026 City of Santa Clara
Traffic Box Beautification

Required Theme: “Reflections of Innovation and Heritage”
Location: Pruneridge Ave. & Cypress Ave., Santa Clara, CA
Status: Complete

At first glance, this piece reads as a timeline, sharing the story of Santa Clara, from the great

oak trees that once ruled the plane, to the creation of Mission Santa Clara de Asís, through the

abundance of fruit orchards, and wrapping up with the present, where technology booms.

However, as you dive in deeper, you will notice that the child is using today’s technology to

take a virtual trip to the past, connecting him with the Santa Clara of yesteryears.
